Isn’t it funny how newcomers see more of a country than locals do?  I believe something like 98 percent of South Koreans have never been to Baegnyeong Island.

There is this feature in a monthly magazine that I like to pick up, it’s called “Where Did You Sleep?”  And the guy, who is also a tumblr friend, takes photos of the bed where he and his wife happened to pass the night in their seemingly many travels.  Usually, the photo is really not much more than a mussed-up bed, but it’s strangely evocative not of sex, but of the joys of picking up and going somewhere.

Oh, my ear is itchy !?   :-) I do agree “newcomers see more of a country than locals do”  Lee! and I’m in that 98%. envy you .
